Help available for Victorians impacted or making a submission to the Royal Commission

Melbourne Legacy in partnership with the Victorian State Government has established an easily accessible service to support to those in the veteran community who feel that they have been impacted by the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide.


The Victorian Veteran Family Services (VVFS) is available to any veteran or family member who like advice and support. For advice and access to the service, just call 1800 VET FAM or 1800 837 326.

Information Session #1


The first of a series of information sessions on services available will be held from 6 - 8pm on Wednesday the 12th of October at Legacy House, 293 Swanston Street Melbourne and online.


The session will include presentations by Veteran Liaison Officers, Adam Kent and Laurence Quinn, will speak about how to access VVFS support from VVFS.


Dayle Partridge from Defence and Veterans Legal Service will also be on hand to explain how you can access independent information and support in preparing a submission to the Royal Commission.
